<p>This iconic city, known for its historic importance as much as its diehard sports-fan base, is never dull and has a thriving economy.  Boston is not only the largest city in New England, also known as the unofficial capital of the Northeast, but is the 20th largest city in the country (10th largest when you take into consideration the Greater Boston area).</p>
<p>Boston is home to several prestigious universities, including Harvard and Boston College, making it an international hot spot for education and a center for medicine.</p>
<p>Due to a high focus in finance and technology, Boston was ranked 14th by the City of London from Z/Yen Group Ltd. and ranked 1st for innovation.</p>
<p>The one downfall for recent graduates is the cost of living. Boston is one of the highest costs of living in the U.S. so make sure you have a job lined up before moving to this chilly city!</p>

The Baltimore Inner Harbor is the staple of this once seafaring city and is surrounded by the Baltimore Aquarium, the Baltimore Science Center, Visionary Arts Museum and countless outlets to eat and shop. Once you’re done sight-seeing, feel free to <a href="../careers/" target="_self">find a job</a>!</p>

<p>The medical field is extremely strong in Baltimore. With the University of Maryland Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University Hospital on either side of the city, you can rest assured your health is in good hands.</p>
<p>Another great thing about this <a href="http://www.gradpower.com/city-profiles/" target="_self">city</a> is that it is a short drive away from the nation’s capital, <a href="http://www.gradpower.com/cities/washington-dc/" target="_self">Washington, D.C.</a> Both cities have distinct personalities and different career specialties. However, you can very easily live in one city and work in another! The commuter train from one to another is only $7!</p>
<p>The small, distinct neighborhoods surrounding the harbor area are very affordable and close to the thriving athletic culture that Baltimore emanates.</p>
