According to recent studies, last year women occupied about 45.5% of the total U.S. work force, and more than one third of them held professional positions. What does this say about the role of women in the workplace? It’s definitely growing, despite the fact that women still receive 80% less pay than men.
So, what are the top paying jobs for women, and what are the best jobs for women that keep them earning top dollar? Here they are, as stated by a 2008 U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau analysis:

10. Computer Scientists and System Analysts – Median yearly earning is $56, 524

8. Human Resource Managers – Median yearly earning is $59, 124
